Jens Lindemann plays Sparx Cornet Mouthpiece
This past weekend Ted Sparks was performing with Toronto’s famous ‘Hannaford Street Silver Band’ in London and Toronto, Canada. The concert featured two high profile guests from world renowned Black Dyke Band – namely Nicholas Childs and cornet soloist Roger Webster and in both venues literally “brought the house down”.
The band was also fortunate enough to have a guest principal cornet for these two concerts – Jens Lindemann of Canadian Brass fame. Lindemann’s reputation as a performer is world wide and he is rightly regarded as one of the finest players of his generation.
At the dress rehearsal Jens asked Ted about the Sparx cornet mouthpieces that most of the band were using. He tried one during the rehearsal and proceeded to use it on both the following concerts!
The results were amazing, and later in the week he sent Ted the following message of congratulations:
“I recently played a Sparx cornet mouthpiece …….. tried it in the afternoon and played it the same evening for a major concert. It inspires confidence, has great intonation and delivers with tremendous reliability. This is an excellent mouthpiece produced by a master craftsman!”

Who can ask for more? One of the truly great players of our time took the opportunity to play on a Sparx mouthpiece and found it suited his need to a tee.
Why not see if it suits your playing too?
